Corvallis, OR (March 15, 2022) – Deputies with the Benton County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of a crash involving a motorcycle and a car on Saturday, March 12th. The accident took place around 1:00 p.m. on Highway 20 at the intersection with Highway 223.
According to a report from the scene, a female motorcyclist was injured in the collision. Paramedics responded to the area and transported the motorcyclist to Good Samaritan Hospital. While at the hospital, the woman received treatment for six broken ribs sustained in the crash. There were no other injuries reported. The identity of the victim has not been released. At this time, it is not clear how the accident took place. Motorists were advised to avoid the area following the collision.
Police are still investigating and it is not clear whether any charges will be filed in connection with the crash. There is no further information available at this time.
