Car Accidents in Oregon

An Oregon car accident can happen very suddenly and unexpectedly. These crashes do not always result in injuries but in many cases they will. The injuries that are suffered in a crash can lead to lingering and long-term effects for accident victims. A car accident injury may not always appear serious at first but over time your condition can worsen which can result in injuries that are more permanent and require extended medical treatment.

Under Oregon law, car accident victims may have certain legal rights following a crash. If the other driver was at least partially at fault for causing the accident, the accident victim or, in some cases, their family can seek compensation for the losses suffered. This can include payment of medical bills, prescription bills, lost wages, pain and suffering and more. While the exact value of your case can only be determined by a skilled accident attorney, it is important to seek the proper medical treatment for your injuries right away. This prevents the injuries from worsening and also preserves the integrity of your injury claim.
