Injury Accidents in the State of Oregon.
Auto accidents are common in our car-centric world, yet it isn’t something most people ever plan for or expect to happen to them. As such, when somebody finds themselves injured after a crash, they often have no idea how to proceed.
Auto accident injuries are life-changing. Not only does one have to cope with whatever physical pain they are in, but they also have to deal with things like medical debts, lost wages from inability to work, and seemingly endless negotiations with insurance companies.
The silver lining for Oregonians is that, in the state of Oregon, filing personal injury claims is a vastly smoother and more accommodating process than in other states. Every year, Oregon sees approximately 31,000 people injured in crashes every year. That includes many victims who were not at fault for causing the collision that created their injuries.
Careless and reckless actions of other drivers on the road cause many accidents and injuries every year. Things like distracted driving, DUIs, and speeding are among the most common forms of reckless driving that cause accidents in Oregon.
In Oregon car accidents, unlike in some other states, a victim can still receive compensation even if they are found partially liable. If you have been injured in an auto accident in Oregon, it is wise to consult with an experienced Oregon personal injury attorney. Not only can a lawyer take a lot off your plate by dealing with insurance companies, and the courts, but they can also help you know if you have a solid case, to begin with.
However, in the state of Oregon, you do not need to be found 100% not liable to receive financial compensation for your damages. This is why it is important to hire an Oregon personal injury attorney. There are many technicalities in personal injury law, and it is nearly impossible to navigate the courts and insurance companies by yourself.
