Lincoln City, OR (March 19, 2022) – A 34-year-old woman died in a two-vehicle accident that happened in Lincoln City on Friday, March 18th. The accident took place on Highway 18 near milepost 7, just before 6:00 p.m.
The Oregon State Police responded to a call regarding the collision. According to a report, a pickup truck was heading eastbound on Highway 18 when it collided with a car that was traveling westbound. The driver of the car, a 34-year-old Lincoln City woman, was rushed to a local hospital but later succumbed to her injuries. The driver of the pickup truck and their two passengers were uninjured in the collision. There were no other vehicles involved. Drivers were avoid the area while an investigation was underway.
Police are still investigating the crash. No further details have been released at this time.
