Oregon Car Accidents
Oregon’s roadways can be dangerous places for drivers and passengers. When we get into a vehicle, we are not expecting to be the victim of an injury accident. However, these scenarios play out across our state every day as thousands of victims are injured in crashes each year. According to the Oregon Department of Transportation, more than 7,000 people suffered injuries in Oregon car accidents that took place in 2021. Many of the injuries sustained were serious enough to require medical treatment, including hospitalization.
After an Oregon car accident, you may be feeling many emotions, including frustration and anger. If the crash was not your fault, it certainly may feel unfair that you are dealing with the effects caused by someone else’s recklessness. Fortunately, there is help available. Oregon law provides victims with an opportunity to recover their expenses, including their medical bills and lost wages following a crash that was caused by another motorist.
