Deadly Car Accidents in Oregon

Car accidents can happen suddenly and unexpectedly with little warning. In serious accidents, the crashes often occur so quickly that the other driver has no time to react in order to avoid the crash. Certainly, there is nothing more devastating than the sudden loss of a loved one in an Oregon car accident. This is especially true if your family member was killed in a crash that was not their fault. Sadly, more than 700 people are killed each year due to crashes on our state’s roadways and a substantial number of these accident victims will lose their lives due to the actions of a negligent driver.

Following an Oregon car accident, you should always seek the advice of a skilled and experienced attorney, Many people will mistakenly assume that they can handle the case on their own by speaking directly with the insurance company. This often leads to an inadequate settlement that does not fully compensate you for the loss that you have suffered. Further, during this time, your focus should be solely on recovery and moving forward while your attorney deals with the legal aspects of your claim.
