Multi-Vehicle Crashes in Oregon
A personal injury accident is one of the most traumatic and distressing occurrences in a person’s life. Every year, more than 31,000 people are injured in car accidents on Oregon’s streets. Many of these accident victims suffer injuries due to conditions that are out of their control. Even worse, irresponsible and reckless drivers cause countless accidents each year.
Multi-Vehicle crashes often prove to be more fatal than single-vehicle crashes. T-bone crashes and head-on collisions are among some of the most dangerous collisions that can occur. Injuries sustained in these crashes, even if they are not fatal, can end up more expensive than just the cost of medical bills. Losing wages due to missing out on work can also put undue financial stress on individuals and their families.
There exist many different potential factors that can contribute to multi-vehicle car accidents such as this one. Driving over the speed limit, reckless driving, intoxicated driving, and distracted driving are among some of the most common causes. If you or a loved one has been involved in a car accident, it’s natural to be upset and uncertain about how to proceed.
The state of Oregon is one of the most accommodating states for personal injury claims. If you are injured in a car accident, it is important that you be aware of your legal rights. If you were injured in an accident that wasn’t your fault or that you are only partially at fault for, then you might be eligible for compensation. An attorney can help you explore your legal options if you are in an accident that was not your fault or partially at fault.
By law, you may be entitled to compensation for your pain and suffering, lost wages, medical expenses, and other expenditures. The value of your claim is determined by the specifics of your accident and case. If you want to know what your accident claim could be worth, speak with an experienced Oregon car accident lawyer as soon as possible.
While an automobile crash in Oregon can be a significantly life-altering event, it does not need to be something that burdens you financially. We believe that car-accident victims should focus on healing and getting better, not worrying about how they will pay for treatment.
A car accident can be devastating but it should not prevent you from continuing with your daily tasks and living a normal life. There is still hope for a better future, and the first step is to get back on good financial footing by contacting a lawyer to help you receive your rightful compensation.
