Portland, OR (June 16, 2022) – Police and first responders in Portland reported to the site of a car accident causing injuries on Thursday, June 16th.

At around 11:00 a.m., an accident occurred on Interstate 205 near eastbound Interstate 84.

Authorities noticed at least one individual suffering from injuries incurred in the crash when they got on the site. The wounded victim’s condition has not been disclosed at this time, however, and there is no information on what caused the accident.

Motorists were urged to take an alternative route of travel due to traffic congestion in the vicinity. No charges have been filed in connection with the collision, according to police. For approximately an hour, traffic on the roadway was nearly completely blocked while the accident scene was reviewed and cleared.

There is no news on whether the collision will result in any charges being filed. Authorities said their investigation is ongoing, and no further details have been revealed at this time.
