Single Vehicle Auto Accidents in Oregon

Car accidents are common. There have been over 31,000 people injured in car accidents in Oregon this year and many of them sustained serious injuries because of the accident. Unfortunately, it can be almost impossible to avoid crashes completely due to the recklessness of other drivers on the road.

Reckless and irresponsible drivers are to blame for many car accidents every year. When this happens, it often leads to severe personal injuries, in which any driver can become involved.

Despite only one vehicle being involved, single vehicle accidents can be very dangerous and even deadly. No one wants to get hurt, especially when being injured also means spending a lot of money, not only for car repairs but also for funeral costs, lost wages, medical bills, etc.

Many different factors can cause car accidents. Speeding, reckless driving, drunk driving, and distracted driving are some of the most common causes. In many cases, you may be eligible to receive compensation from the other party even if you’re partly at fault for the accident.

If you’re injured in an auto accident, you must know your rights and entitlements. In some cases, if you are only partially at fault for the accident or were injured in a non-fault case, you can still file a claim. A personal injury lawyer can be contacted to provide advice and support with this decision.
