Oregon Car Accidents
No one ever expects to be involved in a crash when they get into a vehicle. The reality, however, is that major car accidents take place across Oregon every day and they happen multiple times per day. According to the Oregon Department of Transportation, there were approximately 50,000 reported collisions in our state last year. About half of these accidents resulted in injuries to at least one person involved. The injuries sustained in an Oregon car accident can be serious and even long-lasting or permanent and can have a major impact on your life.
When you or a loved one are experiencing the aftermath of a car accident, you should ensure that you have full knowledge of your legal rights and recourse. Under Oregon law, crash victims may be entitled to recovery for their lost wages, pain and suffering, medical bills and possibly more. During this time, you could be faced with many unexpected and significant expenses for medical bills. The compensation that you could receive can help you be on more secure financial ground and allow you to move forward along your path to recovery.
