Multi-Vehicle Accidents in Oregon
Auto accidents happen every day and are something that can affect anybody. Single-vehicle accidents can be dangerous enough, but once multiple vehicles are factored in, the chances of injuries also increase. Luckily for accident victims, Oregon is considered one of the most accommodating states for personal injury claims.
Oregon sees as many as 31,000 people annually who sustain injuries in the aftermath of auto accidents. What’s more, many of those 31,000 people were not at fault for the collision in which they were injured.
Reckless and irresponsible driving accounts for a significant number of auto accidents in Oregon every year. Careless acts such as speeding, distracted driving, and driving under the influence are all common factors in crashes.
It is worth noting that, in Oregon, personal injury laws allow for some compensation to be gained by injury victims even if they are partially liable for the accident. Consulting with an experienced Salem auto accident attorney can help to figure out if you have a solid case or not.
