Injury Accidents in Oregon

Injury crashes happen every day on Oregon’s roadways. When we get into a vehicle, we never expect that we will become one of the thousands of people who are hurt in car accidents across our state each year. However, it is important never to take your safety for granted. Negligent drivers are very prevalent in our state and their careless and reckless actions result in catastrophic consequences for thousands of motorists each day. While there are certain steps that can be taken to reduce the risks, some accidents happen so suddenly and unexpectedly that they are unavoidable.

If you find yourself in this situation, it is important to understand the legal rights that you may have. Oregon law can be favorable to injured crash victims as long as the other driver was at least partly at fault for the accident. In many situations, crash victims can recover certain losses that they suffered in the accident. This includes reimbursement for pain and suffering, medical bills and lost wages. Obviously, these damages will increase depending on the severity of the accident. In order to obtain an accurate estimate of the value of your case, it is vital to speak with an experienced attorney as soon as possible after the collision.
