Salem, OR - Police Respond to Injury Crash on Mission Street

Salem, OR (June 9, 2022) – Officials were at the scene of a serious car accident that was reported in Salem on Thursday, June 9th. The accident happened at approximately 10:45 a.m. on Mission Street near the intersection with Winter Street.

When officials got to the scene of the accident, they found at least one person suffering from injuries as a result of the accident. The condition of the injured victim was not immediately available nor was there any word on the extent of their injuries. Police are currently looking into the cause of the accident. No one involved has been identified. Drivers were told to avoid the area while officials worked to clear the scene and investigate the collision.
