Car Accidents in Oregon

A car accident in Oregon is often a dangerous and devastating event in the lives of crash victims. According to the Oregon Department of Transportation, more than 50,000 car accidents took place across our state in 2019. From these crashes, nearly 40,000 individuals suffered injuries. In many cases, the injuries sustained were serious and included broken bones, soft tissues injuries, head and spinal cord trauma, and more.

Although a crash can be a life-changing moment for victims, it is important not to forget about your legal rights. Under Oregon law, crash victims could be entitled to reimbursement for several categories of damages. This includes payment for pain and suffering, lost wages, medical bills and possibly more. Only an experienced accident attorney can evaluate your case and help to determine what it is worth.

Many people make the mistake of settling too soon with the insurance company. This results in a settlement that is often insufficient to cover the costs of medical treatment and does not fully compensate the victim for their injuries. If you find yourself in this position, you should speak with a skilled Wilsonville car accident lawyer before going any further.
