Oregon Car Accidents
Motorists in Oregon will face risks each time they get behind the wheel of a vehicle or get into a car as a passenger. According to the Oregon Department of Transportation, there were nearly 30,000 reported car accidents in our state in 2020. This number continues to increase each year as more drivers are on our state’s roadways. While not all crashes will result in injuries, there is about a 30% chance of being injured each time an Oregon car accident takes place.
Nearly every car accident takes place because of the actions of a negligent driver. Speeding, reckless driving, impairment and distraction are among the most common causes of car accidents in Oregon. Each car accident must be carefully investigated in order to determine who should be held legally responsible.
