Ioana (“e-WA-na”) Lavric immigrated to the US from Romania when she was 10 years old. After attending Westview High School in the greater Portland area, Ioana attended Dartmouth College in New Hampshire, where she developed a passion for helping others, honed her Spanish language skills, and double-majored in economics and sociology. Ioana then attended Columbia Law School in New York, where she served as an Articles Editor for a prominent journal and became determined to use her legal skills to make a meaningful difference in clients’ lives.
Before joining Johnson and Taylor, Ioana spent two years volunteering with the Small Business Legal Clinic (SBLC) in Portland, where she handled various LLC formation, trademark, contract and employment law matters for low-income entrepreneurs. Ioana is active in numerous professional and civic organizations, including the Dartmouth Club of Oregon and the Multnomah Bar Association Young Lawyers Section (MBA YLS). Ioana’s volunteer work has earned her the SBLC Outstanding Pro Bono Attorney of the Year Award for 2019 and the MBA YLS Award of Merit for 2020. Ioana’s practice is focused on family law. In her spare time, Ioana enjoys cooking, hiking, farmers markets, and spending time with loved ones.
