Lincoln City, OR – Injuries Reported in Car Crash on Hwy 101 Near Inlet Ave

Lincoln City, OR (April 12, 2022) – Fire and rescue and police officials responded to the scene of a serious crash in Lincoln City on Monday, April 11th. The collision was first reported at approximately 4:30 p.m. and took place on US Highway 101 near SE Inlet Avenue.

Authorities arrived shortly after being dispatched. According to an initial report, the accident involved serious injuries for at least one person. Police and rescue crews were at the scene for several hours investigating the crash and clearing the roadway.

At least one injured victim was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries. The road was shut down for several hours as motorists in the area were advised to find alternate routes of travel. Police have not released any information on the cause of the accident or the identities of those involved.
