The Oregon State Police responded to the crash scene. According to a report, a 52-year-old woman from Boring was driving a Honda Civic southbound on Highway 211. At the time, the weather was poor with a hailstorm in the area. The woman lost control of her car due to the weather conditions and skidded into the northbound lanes. The woman died at the scene from her injuries. The driver of the truck, a 41-year-old man from Sandy, was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. There were no other vehicles or individuals involved in the accident.

The crash caused the road to be closed for several hours while the OSP investigated. There is no further information available at this time.
