Injury Accidents in Oregon

A car accident in Oregon takes place suddenly and without warning. Major crashes occur each day on our state’s roadways and the results are often devastating for innocent victims and their families. While no one ever expects to be involved in a collision, drivers should always take the utmost care and caution in order to lower their risk of being involved in an accident. Still, not all crashes can be avoided, especially when reckless and negligent motorists are involved.

If you have suffered injuries in an Oregon car accident, you may have valuable and important legal rights. During this time, it is important to have a complete understanding of what you are able to do. Unfortunately, many injured motorists make the mistake of trying to handle their own claim and speaking directly with the insurance adjuster. This often leads to a quick settlement that is inadequate to compensate the crash victim for the full extent of their injuries. Before speaking to the insurance company, you should always have a consultation with a local car accident attorney.
